ABOUT

In 2004, I met Becky Sabourin (Wyndlor Pomeranians) and began helping at her kennel and traveling to shows. In return I was given a 13 week old puppy named “Wyndlor Tisha Darla Doright” (hence, DarRight) to begin showing in Juniors- and the rest is history. My first weekend showing Darla in Juniors I won a Specialty Best Junior Handler, followed by an all-breed Best Junior win the next day. I was hooked and knew that I would always have Pomeranians as a part of my life. Over the next few years, I began co-breeding with Becky and soon later owned, bred, and or handled several dogs to AKC championships. I also continued to show in Juniors and worked for professional handlers such as Nina Fetter and Matt & Sarah Perchick. I truly cannot thank Becky enough for being my “second mom” and mentoring me over the past nearly 20 years, and for Nina, Matt and Sarah for taking me under their wing and teaching me so much of what I know today. A huge THANK YOU to the many others who helped and supported over the years.

In addition to breeding Pomeranians, I show dogs professionally as an AKC Registered Professional Handler and have campaigned several top dogs of several breeds. I am an AKC Junior Showmanship judge and am actively involved in the American Pomeranian club in several roles, including as the Pomeranian Breed Columnist for the AKC Gazette magazine and the Advertising Manager for The Pomeranian Review. I also serve on the board of directors for the American Pomeranian Club (2023-2024).
